Tell us about the home. We'll call to schedule your measure.

No obligation. We call first to set a time, and no one shows up at the address unannounced.

Who we are: a Boca Raton impact window and door company. One crew measures your openings, writes the quote, files the permit, installs the units and meets the inspector, for homes, condos and small commercial buildings from Boynton Beach down to Deerfield Beach.

Why we stick to one trade

Plenty of contractors add impact windows to a list that also includes roofs, kitchens and pavers. We don't. Doing only windows and doors means we see the same problems every week, from out-of-square block openings to arched transoms to condo boards with a strict frame-color rule, and we have a settled way of handling each. It also means the person who measures your house knows exactly what the installer will need on the day.

How Boca Raton makes this job different

Boca is not one kind of house. East of I-95 there are 1960s and 1970s ranch homes with original aluminum windows and jalousie Florida rooms. Downtown and around Mizner Park, Mediterranean-style homes have arched tops, eyebrow windows and tall double entries that have to be templated, not ordered from a catalog. The country club communities west of the turnpike, such as Boca West, Broken Sound and Woodfield, were built in the 1970s through the 1990s with frames now at the end of their life. Along A1A and the Intracoastal, high-rise condos bring higher wind pressure, elevator bookings and association specifications.

The paperwork varies as well. The City of Boca Raton issues permits inside city limits, Palm Beach County handles the unincorporated communities to the west, and Highland Beach has its own town building office. Deerfield Beach, a few minutes south, sits in Broward County's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone with stricter product approvals. Knowing which office and which rule applies before the quote is written saves weeks later.

The detail that decides whether a window holds

An impact window's rating is earned in a test lab, but it only holds on your house if the unit is installed the way the approval describes. Each Florida Product Approval spells out the fastener type, the spacing, the embedment into block or wood, and the shims allowed. We install to those drawings opening by opening and keep a copy with the permit file, because that is what the inspector compares against. It is also why product labels stay on until the final inspection is signed.

Family-run in Boca since 2012

The company started in Boca Raton in 2012 and is still run by the family that founded it. The owner holds a Florida certified general contractor license, so the permit is pulled under the name of the person who answers for the work, not a third party.

Every opening is installed by our own employees. We don't hand jobs to subcontractors, so the crew in your house answers to the same people who quoted it. Labor carries a two-year warranty on top of the manufacturer's coverage for the glass and frames.

Most of what we fit comes from PGT and CGI, two Florida manufacturers whose impact products carry state and Miami-Dade approvals. You can see frames and glass in person at our Boca showroom before you decide.

What a measure visit looks like

  • We call ahead to set a time, and arrive when we said we would.
  • Every opening is measured in three places for width and height, including garage entry doors, sidelights and transoms.
  • We note what each frame is made of, how it is fastened, and the state of the stucco and sill around it.
  • You see frame colors and glass samples in your own light, so the effect of a tint or Low-E coating is clear.
  • If you have an association, we ask for its rules then, not after the order is placed.

How a price is put together

Most of what you pay for is the units themselves, built to your sizes. The rest is installation labor, the permit, the stucco and trim work that makes a new frame look like it was always there, and hauling the old windows away. Our quotes list those separately and price every opening on its own line, so you can do the whole house now or phase it by elevation. The ranges we publish are on the cost guide, and every figure on this site is an estimate until we have measured.

What we won't do

  • Price a whole house from photos or over the phone. We measure first.
  • Install a unit whose approval doesn't cover its size, pressure and location.
  • Peel product labels before the inspector has signed off.
  • Leave an opening covered in plastic overnight. A window that comes out goes back in the same day.
  • Push the whole house when you asked about the slider.
  • Add line items at the end. If the quote missed something, we raise it before work starts.

Who calls us

Mostly homeowners, many of them seasonal residents who want the house protected while they are away for the summer. Condo owners on the beach and the Intracoastal, who need a contractor the association will accept. Property managers looking after several units. And small business owners in Boca's retail plazas and medical offices who want impact storefront glass instead of panels to put up every time a storm is forecast.
